refunded invoice in full but balance still showing

go to invoice by user > refund> then selected invoice > left amount as blank to refund in full > done the task but customer account is still showing balance of £18.95 which should be ZERO as invoice has been refunded, now invoice showing £18.95 as PENDING? I have now manually adjusted balance and rebate so I think there is a bug in this process??? Please check and fix. thanks
